A new publication by LVTC members Nuria Yáñez-Bouza and Javier Pérez-Guerra is out! Published by Multilingual Matters and co-edited with colleague María E. Rodríguez-Gil (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), this volume contextualises the role of prescriptivism in history as well as at the present time. Collectively, the chapters address three main strands in ongoing scholarly work on prescriptivism: language, literary and scripted texts, and speech communities. More details about the contents of the volume and the discount order can be found on the Multilingual Matters website.
