We are happy to announce that on 11 September 2026 LVTC member Violeta Milium successfully defended her PhD entitled "Language Use and Language Attitudes among Lithuanian Immigrants in Spain", supervised by Dr. Ana Iglesias Álvarez (UVigo) and Dr. Miguel Cuevas Alonso (UVigo, LVTC). Violeta obtained the highest qualification cum laude. Special gratitude is owed to the examiners Dr. Ana Isabel Codesido García (Uni. Santiago de Compostela), Dr. Alba Aguete Cajiao (Uni. Salamanca) and Dr. Xosé H. Costas González (UVigo).
