We are delighted to announce that the LVTC research group will host the 6th Prescriptivism Conference in Vigo in September 2021! Full information can be found on the conference website here.
This conference series started in 2003 in Sheffield, followed by Ragusa (2006), Toronto (2009), Leiden (2013) and Utah (2017). Keeping the spirit of previous events, we will welcome papers addressing methodological as well theoretical approaches to any aspect of prescriptivism. The language of the conference will be English, but proposals are welcome about English, varieties of English and any other language. We are grateful to Don Chapman, organiser of the 5th conference in Utah, and to all the participants at this event for handing the series over to Nuria Yáñez-Bouza. We look forward to welcoming you in Vigo!
